It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Joe Kaelin, a long-time member of our Daleville Community Schools Board of Trustees. Joe served our school community with dedication, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to students and staff alike. His passion for education and support for our schools spanned many years, and his steady presence and kind spirit made a lasting impact on all of us. He truly cared about the people behind the work—and it showed. Many of you knew Joe personally or worked alongside him during his time on the board. His legacy will continue to shape our school community in the years to come. Please keep Joe’s family in your thoughts during this difficult time. For those who wish to read more about his life or share condolences, his obituary can be found at https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/muncie-in/joseph-kaelin-12336757
